Why renovation? I could have used something else for this skincare brand but I used the term renovation because this brand thought of something that was unusual.

About the Company

Ren is a skincare company that was born in 2000 in East London. It was created when one of the founder’s pregnant wife began to experience sensitivity and irritability from her everyday beauty products. She wanted something that supports her sensitive skin, which was deteriorating due to pregnancy. Hence, Ren Clean skincare was born with the motto of manufacturing products fit for sensitive skin by using gentle formulation process.

In fact, the idea of skincare for pregnant women renovates the existing skincare by adding more fruitfulness to it. The products are inclusively tested and are dermatologist approved. 

The founders of this company are Rob Calcraft and Antony Buck and the company’s CEO is Michelle Brett. It is the first premium skincare brand to become Zero Waste.

Problems of skincare in pregnancy

Changes during pregnancy weakens your skin barrier, which makes your skin more sensitive. A rise in estrogen levels leads to the production of excessive pigmentation in the face and body which results in discoloration .
